Trona Pinnacles, CA This photo was the only good thing that came from a trip to Trona in the Summer of 2014. The wind was so strong, my girlfriend and I weren't able to keep the tent upright. It was also picking up a lot of sand, so each gust felt like a hit from a sand blaster. The clouds, while beautiful, were blocking our view of the stars. We had to escape to nearby Ridgecrest, but before we left, I was able to get this shot.
Marshall Beach, San Francisco, CA Every time I visit Marshall Beach, I find a new vantage point to create an interesting seascape. I love it out there.
