Mobius Arch, Alabama Hills, CA It's been said that the eye is the window to the soul. Photographing the Milky Way through the naturally-formed, eye-shaped window of the Mobius Arch felt like capturing the soul of the galaxy.

South Tufa Reserve, Mono Lake, CA I'm fascinated by origin myths. It's interesting to read how various societies try to make sense of the natural world. Coupled with the Milky Way behind it, I took a photo that allowed me to depict my own idea for an origin myth: a mighty dragon breathing our universe into existence.
