Jumbo Rocks Campground, Joshua Tree National Park, CA
Trona Pinnacles, CA This is from a trip to the Trona Pinnacles a couple months ago. I love taking photos there because the various tufa formations create a nearly infinite amount of composition ideas. The terrain also feels extraterrestrial, and is likely as close as I'll ever get to visiting another planet. The foreground is a stack of 4 exposures (to reduce noise), and the sky is a single exposure from one of those stacked images.
